YouTube has 1.5 billion of monthly active users

YouTube shares new operating results at this year's at VidCon conference. These data show that YouTube in the field of mobile video in a dominant position, but also to grab TV users.

The most important piece of data is that there are currently 1.5 billion sign-in users visiting YouTube each month. This data is important because there are still a significant number of users who do not use Google accounts when they visit YouTube.
In 2013, YouTube announced that the number of active users reached 1 billion. But this figure related to all visitors, logged-in and not.
Signed users watch YouTube videos on average every day for more than 1 hour with mobile devices. This shows that video services on the mobile Internet is also very popular.
"When we compare these metrics to TV, people — in some countries like the U.S. watch TV for four hours a day, so we think there’s lots of room to get people to watch even more YouTube,” CEO Susan Wojcicki said.

YouTube said that the TV screen is the fastest growing video consumer media, this video consumption year over year growth rate of 90% and YouTube's latest YouTube TV service will undoubtedly bring about accelerated growth.
However, YouTube does not share any new information about the habit of watching video on desktop users.
